Welcome to the Dreamwidth version of ff_fanfic, a community for any and all fanfiction based on Joss Whedon's amazing TV series "Firefly" and its sequel movie, Serenity.

So far, there aren't many rules, but please follow the ones we have and use good netiquette:

• Place the text of all stories behind a cut tag, or as a link to a separate journal.
• No flames.
  • Constructive criticism is not a flame. Please do not confused the two.
• Only post fic based in the FF/S universe or featuring one or more characters. Crossovers are encouraged, but no stories that exclusively another canon.
• This is a fanfiction community. As such, please do not post icons, banners, fanart, etc., unless they are accompanied by or in relation to a story.
• Please, please, PLEASE tag your posts! If there isn't a tag for your story, please leave a comment on any post tagged !mod post and one will be created for you.
• Use a header, and place it outside the cut-tag. An example is provided below, but you may use any header you like, as long as it includes at least a title, author, rating, summary, disclaimer, and any pertinent warnings.
  • Pertinent warnings include, but are not limited to: rape, dub-con, extreme violence, mental trauma, torture, and anything else that would get a movie rated R instead of PG.

A Note About Ratings
You may use any rating system you wish. If you feel comfortable rating your stories using the MPAA's G to NC-17 scale, you may. If you would rather rate you stories General Audience/Adult/NWS/NSFW, etc., you may. If you don't want to rate them at all, that is acceptable as well, as long as you warn for graphic sex. If a story is not rated and does not warn for graphic sex, I will delete it and ask you to repost. We don't want to get anyone fired for accidentally looking at porn while at work.
